Disclaimer:

This website refers to the fellowship of Alcoholics Anonymous. It may also refer to Narcotics Anonymous, AFG or Al-Anon Family Groups as well as other 12-Step programs. It is not, however, endorsed or approved by the General Service Offices of Alcoholics Anonymous or any other 12-step program. The contents of this site are the responsibility of the Lincoln Central Service Office board. We welcome suggestions and comments about how to better carry the message to the many alcoholics and/or addicts who still suffer. The Central Office is simply a book store where you can get recovery literature and merchandise at a reasonable price. We have stopped fighting everyone and everything. We have no axes to grind. We are only here to help with recovery in the Lincoln community and making it a safe and friendly community for all to recover. The traditions were not given to us so that we could argue. They were give to us so that we might get along. Please keep that in mind. Love and tolerance is our code.

AA co-founders Bill Wilson and Bob Smith

The Lincoln Central Service Office started in 1973 dedicated to support Lincoln's recovery community.

The Central Office provides literature and other material for AA and Al-Anon Family Groups. It is also a clearinghouse for upcoming events and the meeting lists.

The office moved to its current location in 1990.
